Beatrice Milner Eischen , 95, died November 10, 2008. Bea was born June 15, 1913 in Caviness, Texas to James M. and Beulah Rainey Milner. She grew up in Swink, Oklahoma and graduated from Ft. Towson High School and Draughn's Business College.

She married Harold B. (Red ) Eischen on April 20, 1935. Bea, our beloved mommy, was a strong, intelligent woman whose faith in God, husband, family & friends never wavered. She was a beautiful seamstress, homemaker and consummate southern cook who in 1964 was named Grand Champion Pie Baker at the State Fair of Okla. Bea worked twenty years as a secretary at Val Gene's and the Okla. Dept of Tourism. She was a 52 yr. member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughter. She volunteered at St. Anne's Home, and was a member of the Altar Society & Happy Hearts Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters. Bea is survived by her son Thomas M. Eischen and his wife Sally of Little Grand Rapids, Canada, and her daughter Jennie B. Wood of Okla. City; her grandchildren Theresa, Thomas, James, Bernadette, Leanne Eischen , Christopher T. Wood and his wife Bivian and great grandsons, Joshua, Caleb, and James Wood. Her great grandson James said "She is the only one who loved me 100%." She will be missed 100% by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Our family would like to extend a special thanks to the Good Shepherd Hospice team who watched our Bea so tenderly.

Viewing is Thursday at Guardian West Funeral Home, and a Prayer Service will be held 7PM Thursday, November 13, at St. Patrick Catholic Church 2121 N. Portland, OKC. The Funeral Mass will be at 10am on Friday, November 14, at the Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
