Joseph Corlee, 416 Southwest Twelfth street, 64 year old retired
carpenter, died Saturday at Oklahoma City General hospital after
an illness of about a year and a half.
Corlee, ill of high blood pressure suffered a paralytic stroke
Friday at his home and failed to regain consciousness.
He was a resident at the state 40 years, moving to Weatherford
from Illinois. Later he lived at El Reno. He had made his home
here the last 15 years. He was baptized a Catholic Friday.
Survivors include his wife, five sons, Carl, 5 years old,
Charles, 7, and Oran, 11, all of the home; Fred, El Reno. and
Earl, Tulsa; six daughters, Dorothy, 14, home address; Mrs. Mona
Anderson, 1130 1/2 West Reno avenue; Mrs. Alma Burgess and Miss
Nova Corlee, both of El Reno; Mrs. Stella Randolph, Ardmore, and
another daughter in South American, and two brothers, B. L.
Weatherford, and B. G., El Reno.
Arrangements will be announced later by the Watts and McAtee
funeral home.
