Nicoma Park - When Nancy Boyd gave birth to quadruplets, she also delivered a lot of joy, expenses and heartache.

The oldest of her quadruplets, Brittney Kaylyn, died just 18 days after she was born. The other three children who were born a full week after Brittney, but still more than three months premature, will have to remain in the hospital until at least Thanksgiving.

To help them, friends of Nancy and Glenn Boyd have set up a fund in their name to pay for funeral expenses for Brittney as well as other expenses to care for Brett, Corey and Courtney.

Graveside services for Brittney are scheduled for 10 am Saturday at Kolb Cemetery under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home.

Brittney K. Boyd, the first born of quadruplets, came into this word on Aug 13, 1995, one wee before her sister and two brothers. Although her stay on earth was brief, Brittney touched the hearts of so many, and we find comfort in known that Jesus is now holding "our little angel".

Brittney is survived by her parents, Glenn & Nancy Body, siblings, Brett, Cory & Courtney of the home, Ashley Boyd of Choctaw and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services will be 10 am Sat, Sept 9, 1995, at Kolb Cemetery.
