On Sunday occurred the wedding of Thomas Jeany and Miss Della Wright at the home of Mr. Gorman in Heman, Rev. Norton officiating. The groom is one of the progressive young homesteaders of this district and has by his thrift, prepared a good home for his bride. The bride is the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Wright, and has grown to womanhood here among us. Their many friends congratulate the young couple and wish them joy as they sail down the stream of life. In the evening a reception was given the newly married folks at the home of Will Jenany, where fifty of their friends and neighbors gathered to offer congratulations and partake of the bountiful wedding supper that had been prepared.
A romance which began eighty-five years ago soon will lead two sweethearts to the altar. John B. Brunden who admits 101 years, has left his home at Tate Springs, Tenn. for London, where he will meet bride to be, Miss Rose McGuire, who has just turned her century mark. Together they will journey back to the little town in Tennessee where they will be married before an assemblage of 135 "boys and girls" the youngest of whom is 90 years old.
A little daughter was born to Mr and Mrs W. H. Wilcox Saturday evening. This is the first girl out of five children and to say that they are delighted is expressing it lightly.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swyers are the proud parents of a bouncing boy born Monday morning. Mother and baby are doing nicely.
A little daughter was born to R.E. Conery and wife last week. The little lady is already mistress of the house and move at her command.
Saturday morning a little girl came to take up her residence at the home of Mr. and Mrs C. J. Washburn. All are getting along nicely.
The two month old baby of John Durkee and wife of Heman, died in Quinlan Thursday noon of Cholera infantum. Mr Durkee lives about 10 miles north of town and had brought the baby here for medical attention but it was too late for human aid and the little one was taken to the one who gave it life. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all in their bereavemvent.
Douglas M. Good and Miss Nettie Mullins of this city were married in Woodward last week at the home of Mrs John A. Gardner, sister of the birde. Their many friends wish them happiness through life.
