WOODWARD DISPATCH

April 6, 1906.

The little month old girl baby of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Stenglemier, of Lucerne died April 3rd. of whooping cough.

Mrs. Frank C. Mooreland, of near Fairvalley, gave birth to three six pound boys on March 27th, all of which are alive and doing well, but the mother died a few hours afterward. The first child was born about 24 hours before the other two.

The little three - year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. O. McCollough died of membraneous croup last Sunday and was buried in the Gage Cemetery on Monday.

Born to Nelson Robinson and wife, Saturday, a boy.

April 13, 1906.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Oldfield, last Friday a fine 8 lb girl.

A vary pretty affair was the wedding of Jno. W. Byers, to Miss Certraie Bayless, which occurs at 11:30 at the M. E. Church, last Sunday. Rev. D. Z. Munsey officiating.

Many relatives and friends were in attendance, and after ceremony, the party partook of a bountiful wedding dinner, which was served at the home of Mrs. Ida B. Citter. The happy couple will make their future home here in Woodward.

W. C. Hixon, the hardware man, was presented a fine 9 pound boy by his wife Wednesday morning. The mother and baby are doing nicely, but there are some fears entertained for Will.

Last Monday afternoon April 9, in the parlor of the Cattle King hotel of Woodward, W. G. Foster and Miss. Rose Berg were united in the bonds of matrimony, Ed. S. McKinny Minister in the Christian Church at Woodward officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Foster start into married life with bright prospects. Mr. Foster is one of the early settlers in this county. He has good landed property he is also one of the leading merchants at Mutual. Mrs. Foster has for past few years been the talented and popular music teacher, of the Mutual community. If showers of old shoes and rice and well wishes bring happiness theirs will be a happy journey.
