County Clerk, Logan County, Oklahoma Territory; Lieutenant Governor and later Governor of the State of Oklahoma

Martin E. Trapp was born in Robinson, Kansas, on April 18, 1877. He was educated by Mr. McDaniel, a neighbor, by association and study. Later he moved to Logan County, Oklahoma Territory, and served as County Clerk. He was elected in 1922, to the office of Lieutenant Governor. After the impeachment of Governor Walton, he served as Governor of the state from 1923-1927. He went into investment securities until his death at Oklahoma City, on July 26, 1951.
