Colbert School

This photo was scanned from my grandmother's photo records. We have her original in our family records. I have also scanned the back so you will have the names of everyone in the picture. On your Colbert site you have a photo dated "about 1924". The picture I'm sending you my grandmother dated 1924 quite some time back. Perhaps by comparing the pictures and the children you can confirm the date of the one on your site. My aunt and grandmother are in your picture as well...Kathleen Gibson and Bernadine Gibson (3rd row from the back. Their names are misspelled on your page). Just from what I can tell it appears that yours is a bit later than mine...particularly looking at Bernadine. In my picture she notes that this was 1924 when she was only 4 years old. In your picture she looks maybe a year or two older, but you'll be able to tell better than I - they're close and the kids in my picture are looking a bit "scrappier" (!). In my picture there is also Martin, Kathleen and Bernadine Gibson, but there is also Woodrow. In your picture there is not Woodrow and I don't know who Arthur Gibson would be...I show him in none of my records, or in my picture.
