Last Will and Testament of Benjamin F. Thompson

I, Benjamin F. Thompson, of Bokoshe, Indian Territory, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say:

First--after all of my lawful debts are paid, and discharged, I give and bequeath unto my son, Melvin Thompson, one dollar; to my son, Donia Thompson, one dollar; to my son, B. F. Thompson, one dollar; to my daughter, Minnie M. Leeper, one dollar; to my daughter, Bessie Thompson, one dollar; and to my son _______ Thompson, his first name to me unknown, one dollar; and every one of the above named children children I give and bequeath one dollar to be paid in cash by my executrix.

Second--I give to my wife, Rebecca C. Thompson, the residue of my property, both real and personal, for her use in maintaining herself and my minor children, to wit: Donia M. Thompson, Hester J. Thompson, Richard F. Thompson and Lois E. Thompson.

Third--and at the death of my said wife, Rebecca C. Thompson I give and bequeath all of said estate, then remaining, to my said minor children, Donia M., Hester J., Richard F. and Lois E. Thompson, to share and share alike.

Fourth--I hereby appoint my wife Rebecca C. Thompson, to be executrix of this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

Fifth--and it is my will and request that my said executrix be not required to give bond in any sum, but is to have the free use of all of my said estate berein bequeathed to her and my four minor children, free from restraint.

In witness whereof I have here unto subscribed my name by (X) and affixed by seal on this the 7th day of October, 1907.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Benjamin F. Thompson in our presence, and acknowledged by him to each of us; and he at the same time declared the above instrument so subscribed, to be his last will and testament; and we at his request, have signed out names as witnesses hereto, in his presence and in the presence of each other, and written opposite our names our respective places of residence:
