Last Will and Testament of Christopher C. Mathies

I, Christopher C. Mathies, of Wister, LeFlore County, Oklahoma, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

(1) I hereby direct that all my debts be paid.
(2) I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Annie Lee Mathies, Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars.
(3) I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Annie Lee Mathies, a life estate in all my real estate, that I may own and be possessed of at the time of my death; to be held by her so long as she lives for her use and benefit.
(4) I give and bequeath to my daughter, Mrs. Willie Harris, Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars.
(5) I give and bequeath to my daughter, Mrs. Kate Partridge, Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars.
(6) I give and bequeath to my son, Henry C. Mathies, Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars.
(7) I give and bequeath to my daughter, Ruth Mathies, Three Thousand ($3,000) Dollars.
(8) I give and bequeath to my son, J. Paul Mathies, Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars.
(9) I give and bequeath to my son, Ben W. Mathies, Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars.
(10) I give and bequeath to my son, Columbus W. Mathies, Five Thousand ($5,000) Dollars.
(11) I hereby direct, that at the time of my death, if my personal property shall not be sufficient to pay said amounts hereby given and bequeathed, that they be paid in proportion that said bequeathed amount bear to the whole amounts of my personal property, and if my personal property amounts to more than sufficient to pay said bequeaths, that they be paid in the same amounts.
(12) I hereby direct that my executrix, that I hereafter name and appoint, be given one year in which to pay said bequeaths.
(13) I hereby appoint and designate my wife, Annie Lee Mathies, sole executrix without bond, of this my last Will and Testament.

In witness thereof, I, Christopher C. Mathies (signed), have to this my last Will and Testament, subscribed my name this the third day of February, 1911.

Signed, published and declared as and for his last Will and Testament by Christopher C. Mathies, the above named Testator, in the presence of us, who, in his presence, in the presence of each other, and at his request, hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses, and we further declare that at the time of signing thereof said Testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory, to the best of our belief.
