Francis Essman, 79, of Wister, passed away Thursday,
May 13, 2004, in Poteau. She was born June 10, 1924 at Wister.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Wister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.C. Essman; and a
granddaughter, Lisa Parham.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and
Kenneth Binns of Heavener; a son and daughter-in-law, Mack and
Suzie Essman of Wister; one sister, Wanda Robertson of Dalhart,
Texas; four grandchildren, Butch Essman, Rhonda McLaughlin,
Keith Essman and Kim Brown; eight great-grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild; numerous other relative and loved ones; and a
host of beloved friends.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at the
First Church of the Nazarene at Wister with the Revs. Joe "P.J."
Atkinson and Clyde Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in
Ellis Chapel Cemetery
at Wister under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of
Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Butch Essman, Eric Essman, Keith Essman,
Steve Walden, Bud Morgan and Fred Midgley.
