Irene Lockhart, 92, of Heavener, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, in Poteau. She was a longtime resident of Heavener, a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the First United Methodist Church. She was a retired nurse's aid.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen; her parents A.N. and Amanda Johnston; and two brothers, Pat and Carl Johnston.
Survivors include one sister, LaVerne O'Neal of Heavener; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
