Fannie Mae Langston, 94, of Heavener, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Poteau. She was born May 4 1908, at Arkansas to John and Annie (Murphy) Purvis. She worked for AOG as a clerk and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Heavener.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Langston; one brother, Joe Purvis; and three sisters, Ruby Purvis, Jonnie Williams and Frances Garrison.
Survivors include one daughter, Hope Hembree and husband Glen of Heavener; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and many beloved family and friends.
Graveside services were Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Oak Dale Cemetery in Heavener with the Rev. Sam Dyer officiating, under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.

A private graveside service was held Tuesday at Oak Dale Cemetery in Heavener under the directions of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by a daughter, Hope Hembree of Heavener; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
