Lola Mae Jones
Lola was born in Stigler, Oklahoma, October 24, 1920 to Ira Lester and Mary Stella Porter Fannon. Lola passed away January 17, 1983 in
Bakersfield, California. Lola came to Arvin in 1960 and worked as a potato grader for Arvin Potato Co. for the past 22 years. She was
preceded in death by her husband John, March 12, 1979.
Survivors include three sons, John Jr. , and Curtis both of Bakersfield and Bill of Arvin; three daughters Martha Mavity, of Lamont, Carolyn Hess of Phoenix , Bonnie Medlock of Arkansas. Two brothers , LC. of Oklahoma and Delbert of Arkansas; six sisters Audrey Hickman , Jessie Wimer, Dovie Fannon and Lucille Norwood all of Oklahoma and Annie Parkinson and Rosie Petty both of Arkansas. Several grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The J.W. Sams and Son Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
