Lois Jones
GORE - Lois Marie Jones, 60, of Gore died Monday, July 15, 2002, in Tulsa.
She was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Gore. She was a retired social studies teacher at Gore High School after 23 years, a member of Community Church at Gum Springs, former adult and youth Bible teacher, active in vacation Bible school, choir and a Praise Singer and piano player and lay minister. She was Senior Class sponsor for years, student council sponsor at Gore High School, worked with Special Olympics and sponsor for SADD and MADD.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Gore High School Gymnasium with burial at Stevenson Cemetery at Gum Springs under the direction of Agent Funeral l Home of Gore.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Cleatis Jones; two daughters, Cleta Lynn Doyel and Sheila Walker, both of Gore; two sisters, Lola Mannon and Pat Childress, both of Gore; a brother, Doyle Terrel of Gore; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Billy and Michael Terrell, Pete, Kenneth, Kirk and Keith Byrd.

The body may be viewed 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
