Services will be held Thursday August 15, 1985 at 11:00 am graveside Arvin Cemetery for Bill Jones, 59, of 456 Holden St Arvin, California. Pastor Rick Mooney, of Arvin Freewill Baptist Church, will conduct services. Bill passed away August 11, 1985. Preceding him in death was his father John Jones in 1979.
Survivors include his wife Earlene, 3 sons Robin of Arvin , Ronnie of Arvin, and Ricky of Sacramento, one daughter Linda of Sacramento; mother Pauline Jones of Arvin ; two daughters-in-law, Lawanda and Terri both of Arvin and 6 grandchildren.
Brothers and sisters include: Buddy Jones of Arvin, Billy Joe Jones Jr. of Bakersfield, Curtis Jones of Bakersfield, Bonnie Medlock of Arkansas, Rosie Strum of Arkansas, Marie Wallace of Tipton, Ca. Hester Brown of Bakersfield, Martha Mavity of Lamont, Dorothy Dillard of Arkansas, Suzie White of Arkansas, Carolyn Hess of Arizona, Mary Arnold of Oklahoma, Janie Wilson of Arkansas and Thelma Jones of Utah. The Hopson Funeral Home in Lamont will handle all burial arrangements.
