William Johnson
ALMA — William C. "Bill" Johnson, 57, of Alma died Thursday, May 4, 2000, in his home. He was a self-employed millwright and house painter and Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Fern Assembly of God in the Fern Community.
Funeral will be 10 am Tuesday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel of Van Buren with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
He is survived by one daughter, Shawna Marie Johnson of Port Angeles, Wash.; three sisters, Janne Standifird of Alma, Virginia Henry of Pocola and Loraine J. Jurewicz of Lewisville, Texas; and two brothers, Leo Johnson of Showlow, Ariz., and retired Capt. Kenneth P. Johnson of Shalimar, Fla.
Honorary pallbearers will be his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
