Randal Glen "Randy" James, 42, of Bokoshe died Friday, April 23, 1999, in Tulsa. He was born May 9, 1956, in San Jose, Calif. Randy was a truck driver for RangeCorp. He was also a mechanic, a woodworker, an artist, and a carpenter. In addition, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with burial at
Memorial Park in Heavener. Rev. Marcus Barnett will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Tolley) James of the home; one daughter, Stormy James of the home; two sons, Dalton and Austin James, of the home; his parents, Adam and Eastel James of Panama; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Dennis James of Poteau, and Deyon and Yvonne James of Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Trena and Danny Jackson of Bokoshe; his mother-in-law, Peggy Gartner of Poteau; his sister-in-law, Pam Cox of Poteau; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Danny Jackson, Randy Cox, Ronnie Sanders, Danny Martinez, Doug Martinez, and Howard Cagle.
Arrangements are being directed by Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
