Funeral services for Lucile Jackson, 93, of Poteau, are being held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Poteau, with Revs. Dell Glenn and Rick Snyder officiating. 

Burial is in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Mrs. Jackson was born February 1, 1908 in Egan, Texas to J.P. and Bessie (Young) Newton. She died Thursday, September 6, 2001, in Poteau. She married Ernest C. Jackson on October 1, 1944. 

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest C. Jackson and her parents, J.P. and Bessie Newton. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Chuck; two grandsons; one great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Lucille and Chrystal and George.
