E.V. "Dick" Hoben, 92, of Pocola died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2000, in Pocola. He was a retired supervisor for OG&E and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, H. Frances Hoben.
He is survived by two daughters, Marsha Blahitka of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, and Carolyn Spencer of Little Rock; one brother, Henry of Winfield, Iowa; four grandchildren, Jason Spencer of Little Rock, Michael Blahitka of Allen, Texas, Mark Blahitka of Fort Worth and Marni Hollingsworth of Oshkosh, Wis.; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Spencer, Michael, Mark and Marty Blahitka and Marni Hollingsworth.
Honorary pallbearers will be the OG&E Men's Club.
