Allen Ray Hewett, 47, of Bokoshe, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, in Poteau. He was born Dec. 15, 1954 in Mercved, Calif. to Murle and Lucy May (Baker) Hewett. He was a retired truck driver and also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Daniel Hewett of the home; one daughter, Ashley Hewett of Van Buren; three brothers, Roger Hewett of Portland, Ore., Charles Hewett of Marysville, Calif. and Ronald Hewett of Boksohe; two sisters, Trena Haynes of Spiro and Kathy Westmoreland of Fort Smith; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at First Assembly of God Church in Bokoshe with the Rev. C. Lynn Bullard officiating, under the direction of Eastern Oklahoma Mortuary Services, Inc. of Tulsa.
