Vera Mae Hamilton, 78, of Spiro, were held at 10:00 am Tuesday, at Panama First Assembly of God Church, with the Revs. Brian D. Smith and Bryan Fouts officiating. Burial was in
New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home in Spiro.
Mrs. Hamilton was born July 26, 1922, in Logan County, Ark., to Andrew Cleveland
Moore and Nancy (Smith) Moore. She died Friday, July 28, 2000, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Jerry; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Dana; one grandson; and three brothers Kenneth, Sam and O.E. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Hamilton; her parents; two sisters, Viola Johnson and Mildred Brown; and two brothers, Vance Moore and Joe Moore.
