Larry Gregory, 67, of Poteau, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002.
He was born Aug. 23, 1935 at Monroe. He was retired from Conoco where he was an accountant. He was a member of Springhill Baptist Church and Gideons International, was a volunteer tax preparer for AARP at the local library, and served as a deacon at Sunset Baptist Church in Ponca City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Phoebe Gregory; his wife Cleo; and one daughter, Rhonda Faye Gregory.
Survivors include his wife Christine of the home; one daughter, Sheila Kay Gregory of Ponca City; one son and daughter-in-law, J.B. and Amy Gregory of Norman; one brother, Conrad Gregory of Poteau; one sister, Lucrecia Lowrimore of Panama; one stepdaughter and her husband, Carla and Chris Terry of Howe; two grandsons, Lane and Linn Terry of Howe; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16 at Springhill Baptist Church at Monroe with the Rev. Bryan Vandever officiating. Burial will follow at
Monroe Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Gregory, Lyndel Gregory, Dale Lowrimore, Leon Lowrimore, Glendon Chester and Bill J. Barber. Memorials may be made to Gideon Bibles c/o Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
