Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., Wednesday, April 30 at 1:30 p.m. for Ruth Frazier, 85, who passed away April 28, 1997 in Shafter, California. Rev. Eric West will officiate.
Ruth was born August 31, 1911 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma and resided in Kern County for 49 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Alonzo and Hallie (Smith) Vaughan and her husband William Frazier and son Darrell Frazier.
Survivors include her daughters Merie Momberg of Cameron, Oklahoma, Theda Dozhier of Reedley and Donna Daniel of Oildale; sons Leon Frazier of Lake Isabella, Jack Frazier of Reedley and Jerry Frazier of Oildale; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister Bonie Keeth of Paradise, California and numerous friends at the Shafter Convalescent Hospital.
Casketbearers will be Jerry Frazier, Jerry Ortega, Scott Daniel, Gilbert Ortega, Mike Steelman and Brian Frazier. Honorary casketbearer will be Cathy Jones. Visitation begins today at 1:00 p.m. Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors.
