Muriel Ferguson, 69, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, in Sardis. She was born July 2, 1933 in Haskell. She was a longtime business woman and resident of LeFlore and Pushmataha counties.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Floy Martin of Albion and one brother, Jimmy Douglas Martin.
Survivors include four devoted daughters and three sons-in-law, Carolyn and Kenneth Butler, Brenda Bryant, Beverly and Ray Carr and Judy and Ray Carriger; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her long time friend and companion Raymond Hutchison Sr. of Sardis; his three sons and their families; her father, Jay Martin; two sisters, Ruth Gross and Linda Cooper; one brother, Archie Martin and their families.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
