Henry A. Doyle, 88, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003. He was born Feb. 20, 1914 in Fort Worth, Texas to John David and Corda May (Newman) Doyle. He was a lumberjack and a member of the Canaan View Primitive Baptist Church in Poteau. He loved to go bowling with his brother Jesse.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two brothers, Jesse Doyle and D.J. Doyle, both of Poteau; one sister, Mahala Clark of Poteau; and many beloved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3 at the Grace Manor Memorial Chapel in Poteau with the Elder Cal Kennedy officiating.
Burial followed at the Lamb Cemetery in Waldron, Ark. under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Dave Clark, Jesse Doyle, John Doyle, Jonathan Clark, Glen Clark, Cody Clark, Jim King and Bud Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earl and Arvil Dunlap, Don Doyle, Mike Keller and Cody Hannaman.
