Dora Ella Davies, 88, of Spiro died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, in Spiro. She was a member of Spiro First Baptist Church, a 50-year member of Eastern Star No. 144 and a caretaker and baby sitter for many years. She was the widow of Dale Davies.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Spiro First Baptist Church with burial at
Spiro City Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Downing of Spiro; a son, Frank Davies of Spiro; a sister, Virginia Remer Rhoades of Stigler; a brother, George Albert Statham of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Johnnie LaDale Francis, Terry Dale and Leanna Kay Davies; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
