Alta Mae Curtis, 77, of Shady Point, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, in Sallisaw. She was born Dec. 26, 1925 to Isac and Josie (Lofton) Jackson in Daisy. She married Granville Curtis. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Ronnie Lee Curtis; and one sister, Billie Bradshaw.
Survivors include two sons, John Curtis and wife Cheryl and William Granville Curtis, all of Shady Point; one brother, Ernst Jackson of Sallisaw; one sister, Willie Horton of Kansas; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family and friends.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
