Noah Eugene "Slats" Cooper, 87, of Eufaula, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, where he lived with his daughter. He was well known as a musician, playing bass fiddle and guitar. He was born April 16, 1916 at Gilmore to R.L. and Rose Lou Cooper. He was raised in the Poteau area.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Double Branch Baptist Church.
