SPIRO — Kathleen Virginia Clayton, 47, of Spiro died Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, in her home. She was born Aug. 3, 1956, in Pocola. She attended school in Spiro and graduated from Spiro High School, operated Kathleen’s Cuddle Care Daycare and was a member of Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Fort Coffee, Okla.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Triumph Baptist Church with burial at Mount Triumph Cemetery in Fort Coffee, Okla., under the direction of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors Inc. of Muskogee, Okla.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel; a daughter, Samarah Clayton of Oklahoma City; a son, Craig Clayton of Spiro; five sisters ,Pearl McKinney and Freda Massy, both of Fort Smith, Lorene Massey of Spiro, Celia Washington of Texarkana, Texas, and Reba Massey of Oklahoma City; and six brothers, Epluribus Massey of Spiro, Clifford Massey of Kansas City, Mo., Leevester Massey of Moffett, Verl Massey of Oklahoma City, Sherl Massey of Moffett, Sylvester Massey of Texarkana, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Bryan, Andre and Jonathan Massey, John and Jerrell Clayton and Armad Triplett.
A wake will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Fort Coffee, Okla.
