George Cast, 95, of Heavener, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Poteau. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Poteau.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Cast; and one son-in-law, Max Billings.
Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Hewlett and husband William "Bud" of Russellville, Ark., Faye Billings of Poteau and Margie Sheppard and husband LeLand of Tulsa; one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Dona Cast of Poteau; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4
great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joe Cast of Howe.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4 at First Assembly of God Church in Poteau. Burial will follow in
Memorial Park Cemetery in Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
