Rosy Ruth Broking, 92, of Casa Grande, passed away Thursday, July 11,
2002. She was born Feb. 17, 1910 at Bokoshe to Samuel P. Statham and
Louise Choate. She and her family moved to Coolidge from Bokoshe in
1937, she was employed for many years at the Arizona Training Center in
Rudolph. She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wilson; her
husband, Conrad Broking; one daughter, Jimmie Lou Pearce; one son, Jerry
Broking; one son-in-law, Thomas N. Pearce; and a
great-great-granddaughter, Kimberly Hulcy.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Dorothy Broking; eight
grandchildren, Beth Hulcy, Kathy Ruiz of Glendale, Tom Pearce of Lake
Havasu City, David Broking, Darrell Broking of Mountain City, Tenn.,
Deanna Broking, Debra Dunsmore and Daniel Broking, both of Flagstaff; 12
great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15 at Cole and Maud Chapel
of the Valley in Coolidge. Burial followed at Mountain View Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's
Association, the National Parkinson Foundation or the Arizona Humane
Society.
