Dovie L. Birchler
April 18, 1918 - January 24, 2002

Dovie L. Birchler, 83, of Ripon died Thursday at Bethany Home Convalescent Hospital.

Mrs. Birchler was a native of Poteau, Oklahoma. She lived in Ripon several years. Previously, she lived in Howe, Oklahoma, and Manteca (California) 50 years. She worked for Kraft Foods for 20 years. She was a founding member of Free Will Baptist Church, Manteca.

She is survived by her daughter, Evelyn L. Dunne of Ripon; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Free Will Baptist Church, Manteca. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. today at P. L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, Manteca.
