Laverne Beshears
POCOLA - Laverne Beshears, 80, of Pocola died Wednesday, Aug. 21,
2002, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and attended the
Church of Christ. She was the widow of James "Bruce" Beshears.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bloodsworth Cemetery in
Tate community under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Mansfield.
She is survived by a daughter, Norma Jean Hall of Hackett; two sons,
James Beshears of Pocola and Jimmy Beshears of Oklahoma City; three
sisters, Clarice Norris of Fort Smith, Joyce Habberfield of California
and Winnie Phillips of Poteau; two brothers, Hoyce Solley of Greenwood
and Carl Solley of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 3 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
