POTEAU — Tommy Baker, 71, of Poteau died Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Poteau. He was employed at Atwoods. He sold cars for approximately 44 years beginning with Craigon Chevrolet in the parts department, then McDonald/Smedley and retired from Smedley Chevrolet Olds. He was a member of the Hosanna Fellowship and the Lions Club.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday in Evans & Miller Chapel of Memories of Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau.
He is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Peggy Gilstrap and Pamela Cowan, both of Poteau; one son, Thomas of Poteau; two sisters, Geraldine Goodnight of Poteau and Betty Joe Geheb of Arkoma; six grandchildren, Justin Hickman, David, Britney and Alyssa...
