Hilda Grae Wynn, 89, of Heavener, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Fort Smith, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of Heavener, a member and director of the choir for the First United Methodist Church for over 45 years, attended Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha, received a teaching degree from Southeastern Oklahoma College in Durant, was a member of the Delta Gamma Teachers Sorority, taught school for 40 years in the Heavener Grade School, was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Teachers Association and the Heavener Chamber of Commerce.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Wynn.

Survivors include one son, Mickey Wynn and wife Sheila of Mandeville, La.; four grandchildren, Kristen Wynn Hallcroft and husband Tim of Oklahoma City, Kyle Wynn of Bomount, Texas, Blake Wynn and Brett Wynn, both of Mandeville, La.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery at Heavener under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
