Bill Henshaw, 24 years old, Cushing
Lee Riggs, 40 years old, Cushing
Doris Stokes, 19 years old, Wister

... The Stokes girl was killed instantly when an auto driven by Al Garner, her companion, toppled off a high cliff of Winding Stair mountain, near Talihina. They were returning from a picnic when they met another car on the narrow mountain road. In trying to avoid a collision and blinded by the light, Garner drove his car into the railing and the car leaped over the brink of the cliff. Although seriously injured, he will recover.

The Anderson boy was drowned in Clear Lake, near Wister. He was rescued after being in the water only a few moments and rushed to Poteau for a pulmotor (sic). Physicians were unable to revive him. He was attending a family picnic.
