W. T. Lynch, 70, of Wister, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2003. He was born Oct. 5, 1932 at Shreveport, La. He was a retired IBM regional PC coordinator, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in the Korean War, a was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Wister and a member of the Grand Lodge Texas (Masonic Lodge).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Taft and Trenna (Clark) Lynch; and his first wife Winnie (Kuykendall) Lynch.

Survivors include his wife Roberta of the home; four children and spouses, Cathy and Steve Mosteiro of Clifton, Va., Craig and Leigh Lynch of Hooper, Utah, Bruce and Gayla Lynch of Alpena, Ark. and Dea and Oliver Graham of Fort Worth, Texas; five granddaughters, Stephanie Mosteiro, Michelle Mosteiro, Jessica Lynch, Rachel Lynch and Olivia Lynch; one sister, Gloria Shannon of Birmingham, Ala.; one aunt, Dorothy Welch of Shreveport, La.; his mother-in-law, Jessie Messer of Fort Worth, Texas; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at Maxey Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Steelman officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be David Luman, Chris Luman and Kevin Luman.
