Florina Leverett, 56, of Elk City, was born May 15, 1946 at Williams to Virgil and Modessa (Poole) Goines. She moved with her family to California where she graduated from Fillmore High School. She then came to Elk City in 1978 where she lived until present. She worked at the Elk City Jr. High Cafeteria before becoming a care provider.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael; her father; and a twin sister, Corina.

Survivors include two children, Regina Nance and her fiance Mike Levalley and Mikie Leverett and Kellis Gass, all of Elk City; a granddaughter, Courtney Nance of Elk City; her mother of Shady Point; two sisters, Greta Osborn of Poteau; Lavon Mullins of California; and her brother, Virgil Goines Jr. of California.

Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 8 at the Faith Revival Center at Poteau. Burial will follow in the Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
