Albert Hines, 88, of LeFlore, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Poteau. He was born May 16, 1914 at Williams. He was a retired carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Hines; one son, Jimmy Hines; and his parents, Charles H. and Artha M. (Hensley) Hines.

Survivors include Frances Gibson; five children, Bill and Judy Hines of El Centro, Calif., Jean and Shirrell Evans of Summerfield, Tema and Jim Crawford of Holson Valley, Marsha and J.B. Loyd of LeFlore and Eddie Hines of Greenwood, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Inez Boggs of Poteau, Pat Ginninan and Ethel Gist, both of Heavener; one brother, Welton Hines of Wisconsin; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 21 at Summerfield Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hines, Jimmy Hines, Thomas EVans, Jason Lloyd, Mick Lloyd, Lynn Mattox, Mitch Stacy, Tony Warren and Joe Loper.
