Lester Maurice Hendrickson, 92, of Panama, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2003, at Spiro. He was born July 18, 1910 at Kingsbury, S.D. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army and a machinist. He was preceded in death by his wife Camilla Hendrickson on Dec. 26, 1997 and his beloved dog Ollie. Survivors include one brother, Richard Hendrickson of South Dakota; two sisters, Ella Christenson of Minnesota and Marie Husbands of Nebraska; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Tobey and Margie Duncan; three special friends, Agnes, Cathy and J.D.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. |
