Josephine Haskins, 89, of Shady Point, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2003. She was born Aug. 27, 1913 at Deer, Ark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shady Point. She lived in this area since 1945 and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband Dennis Leon Haskins of the home; two daughters, Virginia Lyssy of San Antonio, Texas and Ruth Ragan of Shady Point; our sons, Robert Haskins of Edmond, Ron Haskins of Alamo, Calif., Garry Haskins and Dexter Haskins, both of Poteau; 17 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Jim Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau. |
