Marvaline Duck, 72, of Mustang, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000 in Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Renee Duck of Oklahoma City; two daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Kenny Wadkins and Karen Cheyne, all of Mustang; eight grandchildren, Travis Duck, Lori Lowe, David M. Allen, Dustin Wadkins, Dannie Wadkins, Jason Cheyne, Paul Cheyne and Landon Cheyne; three great-grandchildren, Koby Duck, Amanda Duck and Skyler Lowe; her father, Noah Shelton of Shady Point; four brothers, Ronald Dean Shelton and J.P. Shelton, both of Shady Point, L.B. Shelton of California, and Jackie Dale Shelton of Union City; one sister, Dorothy Adams of Oklahoma City; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; a host of beloved friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Jerl Joslin officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
