Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Coker will be celebrating their fiftieth wedding
anniversary on October 22nd, from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm at the Hamilton
Homes Community Center in Heavener.
They are parents of Bob Coker from Springfield, Mo.; Pat McLaughlin of
Kingfisher; Jenny (sic) Coker of Prague, and Butch Coker of Oklahoma City;
eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Mrs. Coker is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer
Himes. All
relatives, friends and acquaintance are cordially invited. "Please
come and help us celebrate as we reminisce time and events of the past
years," the children suggested.

Chloe Coker, 81, of Heavener, died Monday, September 6,
1999 in Guthrie, Okla. She was a long time resident of the area, and a
member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Funeral will be September 9, 1999 at Dowden Chapel in
Heavener at 2 pm with burial at Memorial Park in Heavener under direction
of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
She is survived by one daughter, Pat McLaughlin of Oklahoma
City; three sons, Butch of Shawnee, Bob of Springfield, Missouri, Jerry of
Paden, Okla.; three sisters, Grace Denson of Midwest City, Burl Branch of
Longview, Texas, 18 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 11 great great
grandchildren.
