Norma Jean Cash, 72, of Buffalo Valley, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2003. She was born Oct. 31, 1930 at Hanna to McKinley and Susetta Roland-Ballinger. She moved to Buffalo Valley in Jan. 1963 and is co-owner of Shorty's Propane in Talihina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Noah "Shorty" Cash; one brother, Kermit Ballinger; and one grandson, Brian Hokit.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and David Hokit of Meeker, Colo.; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Pam Pendley of Buffalo Valley; one sister, Belva Goff of Oklahoma City; one brother, Preston Ballinger of Selma, Calif.; a special friend, Bea Winton of Talihina; four grandchildren, Sheryl and John Etchart of Meeker, Colo., Katherine Hokit of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Shantel and D.J. Baughn of Coweta, Dewayne and Julie Pendley of Fanshawe; great-grandchildren, Makaila Etchart, Scarlette Baughn, Kelsey and Maycee Pendley.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at the Buffalo Valley Assembly of God with the Rev. Butch Booth officiating. Burial will follow at the Lutie Cemetery in Wilburton under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Lester Carter, Aaron Grey, Dale Daney, Pete Swafford, Leon Hanebrink and Jimmy Carter. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Grey, Jerry Woods and Eugene Jones.
