Miss Maudie Lee Brown
Funeral services for Miss Maudie Lee Brown, 67, of Spiro, Oklahoma,
were held Friday, September 20, 1968, at the First Baptist Church in
Shady Point, Oklahoma. Burial was in Shady Point Cemetery by Evans
Funeral Home.
She was born on December 19, 1900, and died on September 18, 1968, in
a Fort Smith hospital.
Miss Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Frank Brown.
Survivors include seven sisters, Mrs. John R. Barnes Mrs. Raymond W.
Wiles, and Mrs. Ted Lunsford, all of Shady Point, Mrs. Marian F. Hood,
Mrs. F.R. Richardson, and Mrs. H.H. Talbert, all of Bokoshe, Oklahoma,
and Mrs. Carl Profitt of Kirkland, Washington; and one brother, H.O.
Brown of Ontario, California.
