Dennis Alexander, 62, of Poteau, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003. He was born Nov. 8, 1940 at Mesa, Ariz. to Loyd and Leona Alexander. He was a truck driver and lived in the Poteau area for the past 18 years. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son. Survivors include his wife Marie of the home; two daughters, Lisa Marrow of Buffalo Valley and Dana Mata of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sons, David Alexander of Poteau and Dennis Alexander II of Shady Point; six grandchildren, Ryan Marrow, Megan Marrow, Tristan Alexander, Andrew Alexander, Kayla Alexander and Aiden Alexander; three sisters, Joyce Burnett, Jackie Murrow and Sandy Nichols; three brothers, Orlen Ray Alexander, Butch Alexander and Daniel Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones; and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Poteau with the Rev. Clyde Hess officiating. Burial will follow at the Muse Cemetery under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau. Pallbearers will be Danny Pettigrew, Butch Alexander, Richard Marrow, Wayne Burnett, Harold Pettigrew, Ray-Dale Jones, Gary Landry and John Paul Cosper.
