SPIRO - Kate Aldridge, 97, of Spiro died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Spiro. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Spiro and a member of Woodsmen of the World. Funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Leard Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Leona Carter of Fort Smith and Mary Gray of Spiro; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack, Scott, Barry and Landon Gray, Jay Stephens and T.J. Ingersoll.

She is survived by two daughters, Leona Carter of Fort Smith and Mary and son-in-law, Jack Gray of Spiro; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jack, Scott, Barry and Landon Gray, Jessie Ingersoll and T.J. Ingersoll.

The body may be viewed 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
