Billy Charles Archey, 66, of Shady Point, a machinist for 35 years, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at his residence in Shady Point. He was born May 12, 1933, in Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margery Ann Archey of the home, on June 21, 1997; his daughter, Mary Margaret Archey; his sister, Foy Brown; and five brothers, Jim, George, Roy, Robert, and Jiggs Archey. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Rhonda Archey of Shady Point; three grandchildren, Marissa, Carmen, and Anthony Archey of Shady Point; three brothers, Ray Archey of Shady Point, Delbert Archey of Shady Point, and Buck Archey of Cameron; and, three sisters, Lois Brown of Congerville, Ill., Francis Loomis of Cameron, and Elsie Hale of Cameron.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 16, with burial at Knothole Cemetery, Cameron. Rev. Jim Cook and Rev. Mike Bunch will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
