The Logan County Genealogical Society, Inc., a non-profit educational society formed in 1981 and incorporated by the State of Oklahoma November 29, 1995, exists to:
- collect, preserve, publish and maintain genealogical material and historical data
- bring together interested persons for discussion and interchange of opinions and information in the field of genealogy
- study methods of research
- help develop and maintain ancestral charts and records
- assist its members in their genealogical research and compilation
- develop and maintain a reference library
Logan County Genealogical Society will meet on the third Saturday of the month at 1:00 p.m., at the Oklahoma Territorial Museum, 406 E. Oklahoma.
Each month a program is presented by various speakers bringing topics of particular interest to family genealogists. The programs are open to the public at no charge.
