Scrimshire and his wife, Maudie Leora Redford. She was born March 15, 1924 in Seminole County, Oklahoma, married
1st Charlie C. Cantrell, November 23, 1942, and was divorced in
1945. She married 2nd Albert
Bishop, May 31, 1946, and was divorced in 1962.

John Wesley Scrimshire, Junior, son of John
Wesley and Frances Scrimshire was born 6 June 1890 in Montgomery County,
Arkansas, died 25 December 1966 in Okemah, Oklahoma. He married Maudie Leora Tedford, born 12 December 1893 in
Montgomery County, Arkansas. She died
in Okemah, Oklahoma, May 25, 1961.

Evelyn Scrimshire, born 31 July 1933, married Kenneth Eugene Elsner
John Wesley Scrimshire, son of William and Elizabeth Scrimshire, was born 24 January 1852 in Georgia, and died 14 March 1935 in Oklahoma. In 1870 he married Frances Parlee Dean, born in Georgia 16 February 1852, and died 7 August 1939 in Oklahoma.

1. Wiley Scrimshire, born ca. 1873, married in Arkansas, Lizzie Meeks.
2. Lulu Scrimshire, born ca. 1880, married 1st John F. Mayberry and 2nd Bud Booth, who died 1955/6
3. Julia E. Scrimshire, born ca. 1882, married Robert L. Smith, who died 26 July 1962 in Texas
4. Emma Scrimshire, born ca. 1885, married Robert L. Smith and died in Ark.
5. John W. Scrimshire, born 1890, married Maudie L. Tedford
6. Augustus Scrimshire, born November 1894; married Hettie Amerson, and died 31 October 1947 in Oklahoma
William Scrimshire, born 1810 in Georgia was the son of William B. Scrimshire. He married Elizabeth Kent (?) who was born 1820 in Georgia.

1. Solomon Green Scrimshire, born 1838 in Georgia, and married Martha, who was born in Alabama
2. George William Scrimshire, born 1846 in Georgia
3. Edie A. Scrimshire, born 1848 in Georgia, married Frank Hankins in Arkansas
4. Julia A. Scrimshire, born 1850 in Georgia
5. John Wesley Scrimshire, born 1852, married Frances Parlee Dean
6. William Donald Scrimshire, born 1854 in Georgia, married Mary (Mollie) E. Bearden, born 1852 in Georgia
